the voices in my head...
The scene: two nights ago, about 8:30
The story: Every time I look at my math homework, someone starts yelling. Not outside my head, no. That would be too simple. Instead, at least three, possibly more, voices begin yelling at each other, creating a cacophany that is striking and juuuust a little bit frightening. It prevented me from thinking, concentrating - when I'd look up, the noise would fade and fade, and nearly vanish. The regular background-thinking noise was there still, but...
When I say noise, I don't mean I'm imagining physical noise. I mean it's mental noise - static, if you will, but real (although indistinguisable) human voices.
Please, please, please don't think this is just how it felt. This is really what happened - it was as if a small crowd was yelling inside my head.
Gaaaah.
