Regarding my new GBS CD, The Hard and the Easy...
"You also get two completely different (and equally good) songs about horses falling into frozen lakes. Apparently, horse drowning was an epidemic in Canada in the old days."
It's true. Tickle Cove Pond and Concerning Charlie Horse. They're both about horses falling into ponds. Why, I don't know; they're both traditional Newfoundland songs, though. And I love them.
