Please don't laugh?
I know you will anywy, but I suppose it is worth a try.
Srsly, it's what my girlfriend is doing. Laughing. And usually I'd be4 sulking about this, but it is actually pretty funny.
See, I've always thought it was pretty amazing I never actually broken anything, despite having been riding for what, eleven years almoast? - I mean, even Ethan fracturd his arm FALLING DOWN ON THE SAND, and he was playing volleyball. I don;t expect to get hurt falling off. and, er.... *looks embarrsed*...
I kinda landed wrong. Usually i roll, but I must have landed just wrong - I think I was trying to avoid the fence? See, Austin threw an unsually large buck today - some of you know that his favorite sport is bucking when I ask him to move off the whip - and I just got pitched out of the saddle. Surprise! Julie (my instructor) says I threw up my left arm when i fell over his head, and I kinda broke it. Not badly - more a fracture, really, but enough to necessitate a trip to the Apple Creek Hospital. It's not as nice as Wooster's hospital, but Julie lives about twenty minutes off campus and hers was closer. So anywy. now I've got a rather fetching green cast. Its fun to tap, and i've been drawing on it. Sarah also doodled all over it, as did Cat, who is somewhat more artistically inclined that my girl is.
The timing is poor, let me tell you. I have my last show of the season on Saturday, and I'm not atually allowed to ride now. If we hadn't had an extra lesson this week to prepare for it, I would still have both my arms!
Grarg. At least it's my left not my right. Otherwise I'd be SCREWED in class. I have a test this week too...
Am waiting for Sarah to come home so I can take pictures and show them to you. They'll be up on my flickr account later tonight - it's gkhansen if you're interested.
No laughing!
(PS - I knew a girl who broke her collarbone falling off a twelve-hand pony... at least I got bucked off!)
